Full Body Waxing in Knoxville, TN

Legs · Underarms · Arms · Back in one appointment · 4 to 6 weeks apart · two Knoxville locations

Full body waxing is several waxing areas booked back to back in one appointment rather than a fixed package with a set list. Most people mean legs, underarms, arms and back. A facial here is a set block of 50 to 60 minutes; a waxing list is not, because it follows the areas you name and the regrowth on them. You give the front desk your list, and your esthetician decides the running order.

The part people get wrong is length. Wax needs about 1/4 inch of hair to grab, which is 2 to 3 weeks of regrowth after a shave. If you shaved 4 days ago we cannot wax that skin, and we would rather say so on the phone than have you drive to Kingston Pike for nothing. One shaved area does not cancel the rest of the block; we just leave it off the list this round.

Both Knoxville locations run the full menu and both book online. Farragut is at 10935 Kingston Pike near Turkey Creek; Cedar Bluff sits off I-40/I-75 at exit 378, 9621 Countryside Center Ln. Hours are 10am to 8pm Monday through Saturday, 1pm to 8pm Sunday. Call (865) 671-3200 or (865) 236-0880 for a stacked booking.

One Visit Instead of Four

Stacking legs, underarms, arms and back into one booking saves three extra drives across Knoxville. Intake, gloves, wax warmers and post-wax oil all happen once, and you rebook everything on the same 4 to 6 week date.

Pulled From the Root, Not Cut

Wax bonds to the hair and lifts it out of the follicle instead of cutting it at the surface. That is the whole difference: regrowth has to travel back up through the skin, which takes 3 to 4 weeks rather than 2 days.

Full Body Waxing Built From Your List

There is no fixed package. You name the areas, we sequence them, quote the total off the current service menu, and book enough room time to finish all of it in one sitting rather than two.

4 to 6 Weeks Is the Cadence

Hair sits in three growth phases at once, so no single wax catches every follicle. Coming back every 4 to 6 weeks tends to pull more of them onto a shared clock, and most people see the difference by round 3.

Licensed Estheticians, 1,500+ Reviews

Every wax is performed by a licensed Tennessee esthetician. Healing Hands holds a 4.8 star rating across more than 1,500 Google reviews and was voted Best of Knoxville 2026.

A 72 Hour Aftercare Plan

You leave knowing what every waxed area needs: no heat or gym for 24 hours, no direct sun for 24 to 48, and a soft cloth or mitt over the skin from day 3, once it can take it.

What full body waxing actually means when you book it here

Ask five spas what full body waxing includes and you get five different answers. Some sell a fixed list of areas at one rate. We do not. Here you name the areas and we book them back to back in one room. Plenty of people mean legs and underarms only, and that is a normal booking.

The upside is fewer trips across town. The downside is honest: 4 areas in one sitting asks more of your skin than a brow wax does. Book it on an afternoon when you are not watching a clock, and give the desk the whole list when you call.

Why the total gets quoted when you book

What you pay depends on which areas you pick and whether legs are half or full, so one figure printed here would be wrong for almost everyone. Rates sit on the current service menu at each location. Call, or open the Farragut or Cedar Bluff booking page, and the desk will total your list before you commit to anything.

How the running order gets decided

Your esthetician sequences by body position, not by the order you listed things. Everything face down is grouped, then you turn over once, and that is the only repositioning in the appointment. If an area has to come off the list, that gets settled at intake, before anything is warmed.

Why your first two or three appointments come out uneven

Hair does not grow on one schedule. Every follicle sits in one of three phases at any moment, and wax only removes what is actively growing. The rest is still under the skin on its own clock. That is not a bad wax. It is biology, and worth knowing before you commit to a longer block.

It is also why comparing wax to a razor misleads people. A blade cuts every hair at the surface on the same day, so regrowth looks uniform in 2 days. After a first full body waxing session, weeks 1 and 2 look patchy because only a share of follicles were emptied. Round 3 is where people stop noticing.

Anagen, catagen, telogen

Anagen is active growth, and those hairs come out root and all. Catagen is a short transition, roughly 2 to 3 weeks, where growth stops. Telogen is rest, after which the hair sheds on its own. On legs, only about 20 to 30 percent of follicles may be in anagen on a given day, which is why one appointment cannot clear the field.

Why 4 to 6 weeks eventually evens things out

Emptying the anagen follicles tends to reset them onto a shared clock. Hairs resting during your first visit surface weeks later and get caught at the second. By the third or fourth wax, usually 3 to 5 months in, regrowth holds even for longer. Stretch past 8 weeks and the timing drifts apart again.

Hair length, and the 4 day shave that cancels the block

Wax needs something to hold. Below about 1/4 inch there is not enough hair for it to bond to, so it grips skin instead and comes away without bringing much with it. That is where raw patches and the it-did-not-work complaints come from, and it is not a technique problem anyone can talk their way past.

For most people 1/4 inch is 2 to 3 weeks after a shave, closer to 10 to 14 days on underarms, where growth is quicker. Describe the length honestly when you call rather than guessing. Moving your slot costs nothing. Showing up with 4 days of stubble costs you the trip.

  • Stop shaving, trimming and depilatory cream at least 14 days before a stacked appointment.
  • Skip lotion, oil and self-tanner on the areas being waxed that morning, since a film on the skin gives wax less to grip.
  • Shower before you come if you can, since warm clean skin takes wax better than skin off a 12 hour shift.
  • If ibuprofen agrees with you, take one about 30 minutes ahead; some clients swear by it and some notice nothing at all.
  • Come in loose cotton, and plan on driving home in it too rather than in jeans.
  • Give the desk every area at booking rather than adding a full back at the door.

Booking a long list at Farragut or Cedar Bluff

Both locations wax, both run the same menu, and both take online booking at any hour. Farragut is at 10935 Kingston Pike in 37934, on the Turkey Creek end of West Knoxville. Cedar Bluff is at 9621 Countryside Center Ln in 37931, off exit 378 where I-40 and I-75 run together. Pick the one you will keep driving to every 4 to 6 weeks; the cadence decides how this goes.

Phone is easier for a full body waxing list. The desk can put every area onto one booking and total it off the current service menu. Farragut answers at (865) 671-3200, Cedar Bluff at (865) 236-0880, both 10am to 8pm Monday through Saturday and from 1pm on Sunday.

  • Weeknight and Saturday slots go first, so call 7 to 10 days ahead when your list is long.
  • Online booking is open at any hour if you would rather add the areas yourself.
  • Farragut: (865) 671-3200, 10935 Kingston Pike, 37934, near Turkey Creek.
  • Cedar Bluff: (865) 236-0880, 9621 Countryside Center Ln, 37931, at exit 378.
  • The $89 membership covers a massage or a facial rather than waxing, but its 10% off spa services applies to a wax at either location.

Farragut, on Kingston Pike near Turkey Creek

Kingston Pike through Turkey Creek is its own event on a Saturday afternoon, so leave 10 minutes you probably will not need. The address is 10935, in the middle of the shopping you already do out there. From Hardin Valley or Lenoir City this is the closer of the 2 spas.

Cedar Bluff, a minute off exit 378

Driving I-40 or I-75, or coming over from Bearden or West Hills, take exit 378 and 9621 Countryside Center Ln is right there. Both spas keep a far infrared table sauna, and it is worth knowing you cannot use it the same day you wax. Heat and freshly waxed skin want 24 hours apart.

Who we turn away, and what full body waxing will not do

Two things worth saying before you book. Waxing empties the follicle instead of cutting at the surface, so a wax holds 3 to 4 weeks against a razor's 3 days. The follicle stays put and the hair returns. Doing four areas at once does not change that arithmetic. Second, there are conditions where we will not wax you, because wax lifts skin as well as hair.

Bring the whole picture to the desk. What you use on your skin at home, prescriptions included, belongs on the intake form, because some of it changes how skin behaves under wax. Say what it is and where you use it, and your esthetician will adjust that area or move it to the next visit.

  • An active sunburn, including the pink you picked up on a boat 2 days ago.
  • Skin that is peeling, flaking or freshly irritated on an area, since wax takes the loose surface with it.
  • A spray tan you want to keep: wax lifts it off with the hair, so wax first and tan 48 hours later.
  • Broken skin: cuts, cold sores, open acne lesions, an eczema flare, or a raised mole we would wax around.
  • Anything a dermatologist is treating: their plan leads, and a licensed esthetician books around it rather than through it.
  • Hair under about 1/4 inch on an area: it waits for the next round rather than getting waxed badly today.
  • Never been waxed at all: 4 areas in one sitting is a lot, and starting with 1 or 2 is the kinder introduction.

Aftercare when four areas are healing at once

Freshly waxed skin has open follicles and a thinner barrier for about a day. Stack four areas and that is a lot of surface doing it at the same time, which is the one real drawback of booking this way. Nearly every bad outcome people blame on the wax traces back to the 72 hours afterward rather than to the appointment.

Areas do not settle at the same speed. Underarms usually calm inside a few hours; a back and the backs of the thighs can stay pink most of a day. Ingrowns turn up later, around week 2, and they are not an allergy or a sign of a bad wax. A new hair curls back under skin that has not been exfoliated, which is what day 3 onward is for. Dress for the slowest area on your list, not the fastest.

  • First 24 hours: no gym, no hot tub, no pool, no hot shower, and no infrared sauna session.
  • First 24 hours: loose cotton over every area, since a waistband or a bra band causes more bumps than the wax does.
  • 24 to 48 hours: keep direct sun and tanning beds off waxed skin, which is easy to forget about arms in June.
  • Days 1 and 2: nothing fragranced, no self-tanner, and nothing that stings going on.
  • Day 3, not day 1: a soft cloth or mitt 2 or 3 times a week, and it matters most on thighs and back where ingrowns actually show.
  • Week 2: a few short hairs on one area and not another is the growth cycle, not a patch we missed.
  • Redness still there after 24 hours, or bumps that spread: that is a call to your physician, not to the front desk.

Full Body Waxing in Knoxville, TN — Common Questions

What do people usually put on a full body waxing list?

Legs, underarms, arms and back is the common four. Some swap the back for a chest, some add a bikini line or a Brazilian, some run legs and underarms only. There is no minimum number of areas and nothing you have to take to get something else. 2 areas is a list, 6 areas is a list.

Is full body waxing a package I can buy?

No. There is no fixed bundle with a set number of areas and one rate. You choose them, we book them back to back, and the desk totals the current service menu for your combination. Nobody pays for a chest wax they never asked for, and nobody has to take legs to get underarms.

What if one area is ready and another is not?

That happens often, and it does not cost you the appointment. Wax needs about 1/4 inch, which is 2 to 3 weeks after a shave and closer to 10 to 14 days on underarms. If your legs are ready and your arms are 5 days out from a razor, we wax the legs and leave the arms for the next round.

Does it hurt more than waxing a single area?

The individual pulls feel the same. What changes is how many of them there are in one sitting: 4 areas is a lot more pulls than 1, and most people are ready to be finished before the list is. Underarms and the backs of the knees are where clients flinch hardest. Round 1 is the worst of them, and it eases by round 3.

Can men book the same stacked appointment?

Yes. Back, chest and arms together is one of the most common lists we run. Coarse growth pulls harder and the first round is honestly the rough one, though it also shows the biggest difference. Same licensed estheticians, same closed door, same 4 to 6 week rebooking, and the same 24 hour rule about heat and the gym afterward.

Do I need to tell you what I use on my skin?

Yes, and the intake form is where it goes: moisturizer, acne products, anything a doctor prescribed, and which parts of your body you use it on. Some of it changes how skin responds to wax, so your esthetician will adjust the treatment for that area or move it to your next visit. It takes 2 minutes at the desk and saves a bad afternoon.

If I wax everything at once, does it eventually stop growing?

No. The root comes out, so you count in weeks instead of the 3 days a razor buys, but the follicle is still there. Doing five areas in one visit does not speed anything up. Give it a year of steady visits and plenty of people find regrowth arriving thinner and later. It still grows.

When should the block happen if I am leaving town on Saturday?

Depends what is on the list. Legs and arms look presentable in 2 to 3 days, so Wednesday works for those. A back or a bikini line wants 5 to 7, which moves you to Sunday or Monday, because small bumps there hang on for 24 to 48 hours. First block? Add a week. Plan around the slowest area, not the fastest.

Is a full body waxing list worth it if I only shave in summer?

Maybe not. If you shave 3 times a year, the 4 to 6 week cadence is what you would be paying for and not using, and one wax buys 3 to 4 weeks and then the patchy regrowth of round 1. The people who get the most from it shave 2 or 3 times a week from May through September. Start with 2 areas and see.
